At Whole Food Co-op, we're a pretty reasonable bunch. We ask that our staff treats our customers just as they would like to be treated and we expect our customers to impart the same respect upon our staff. We all like meeting new people and we hope that we can make your day better after you've come to see us.

Our Return Policy

The Erie Food Co-op exists to enhance the physical and social health in our community. We offer products that are ethically sourced and of the highest quality. We want everyone to love the items they purchase here! If you are dissatisfied with a product that you have purchased at EFC, please contact the staff at the Customer Service Desk.

Our return policy exists to promote customer satisfaction while setting reasonable and fiscally responsible boundaries for refunds and exchanges. We ask that you observe the following guidelines:

  • All items should be returned within 60 days of purchase date
  • EFC will refund or exchange any purchase that is defective or damaged
  • All returns and exchanges must be processed at the Customer Service Desk.
  • With a receipt, we will issue you store credit or a refund in the same tender that you paid for them
  • Without a receipt, we may issue you store credit at the discretion of the CS representative
  • An item that has been recalled may be returned in adherence with the guidelines presented by the agent who has issued the recall
  • Clearance or reduced items and dated materials are not returnable unless damaged or defective

Erie Food Co-op reserves the right to handle returns and exchanges on a case-by-case basis for unusual or excessive returns and is subject to the discretion of the Customer Service Staff and the Manager on Duty.
